Project Overview

Pound Of Flesh TX is a raw, unfiltered deathcore and beatdown band known for their aggressive sound and fiercely loyal fanbase. They needed a sharp, memorable visual identity that could stand out across merchandise, digital platforms, and promotional media.

As the lead designer and brand strategist, I focused on delivering a flexible and impactful brand system that captured the band's energy and attitude.

The Challenge

The previous logo was overly complex and lacked readability, especially at smaller sizes — limiting its use on merch and digital content.

The white-and-red palette didn't fully capture the band's dark, intense aesthetic, and the existing merch lacked cohesion or visual impact.

Process

To solve these challenges, I simplified and modernized the logo with aggressive, sharp-edged typography that feels raw and confrontational.

The updated color palette—black with green and yellow outlining—adds energy and contrast while remaining grounded in the band's style.

Throughout development, I worked closely with the band to gather feedback and iterate on designs that felt authentic and emotionally resonant.

Twisted Chain Entertainment needed a flexible branding system that could adapt to different types of film productions while maintaining brand consistency. The challenge was creating a series of animated logos that felt unified yet distinct enough to match various cinematic genres and moods.

As the motion graphics designer and sound designer, I developed five unique logo animations: Fire (Action/Thriller), Horror (Suspense), Space (Sci-Fi/Epic), Light Rays (Drama/Prestige), and Sci-Fi (Cyber/Tech).

Project Overview

Heart of Stoke Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports the skateboarding community through events, outreach, and youth programs. For their Go Skate Day event, they needed a bold, dynamic flyer that could grab attention instantly—both on social media and in print.

I served as the lead designer, developing a concept that embodied the movement, grit, and excitement of the skateboarding world while ensuring the information hierarchy made the event details easy to read at a glance.

Challenge

The flyer needed to:

• Showcase skateboarding as the core visual focus
• Convey event details clearly while keeping the design energetic and youthful
• Work equally well for digital promotion and printed handouts
• Be created on a short turnaround with limited source material

Process

Step 1 – Selecting the Hero Image

The design began with a high-action photo of a skateboarder mid-trick. I isolated the skater from the original background and used a portion of the pavement he was riding on to build a new background layer. This instantly grounded the design in authenticity.

Step 2 – Background Composition

Using the pavement texture as the base, I blended in additional color overlays and subtle grunge textures to give the scene a street-ready aesthetic that felt raw and energetic.

Step 3 – Event Branding & Typography

I introduced bold, high-contrast typography for the event title (Go Skate Day), paired with clean, modern fonts for the date, time, and location. The headline received the largest type size to establish a clear visual hierarchy.

Step 4 – Hierarchy & Balance

To ensure legibility, I positioned the primary headline at the top, with supporting details stacked logically below. The skater's movement direction guided the eye naturally from the title down through the information.

The final layout included sponsor logos and fine-tuned alignment for a balanced composition. The design was optimized for both print and social media distribution.

Nonprofits need more than passion — they need presentation. For Dogs with Dignity, a rescue and hospice program for neglected dogs and FeLV+ cats, I created a professional PowerPoint deck that communicates their mission, impact, and fundraising needs with clarity and compassion. The goal: inspire donors, volunteers, and community partners with design that speaks to the heart.

Their mission is emotional and deeply personal, but they required a professional, polished format that would highlight their compassion while still looking credible and trustworthy to potential supporters.

B&B Elevation, a wellness and lifestyle brand, approached me to create a line of product labels for their launch of gummies and THCA concentrates. The project required a cohesive brand identity while giving each product a distinct look and feel.

The finished campaign delivered a professional, on-brand template ready to connect directly with fans. By aligning design, copy, and multimedia assets, the email provided Pound of Flesh with a scalable foundation for future music and merch campaigns.
